Gradwell's Web Lite is one of the most expensive in our reports, no domain registration is included.

Unfortunately, the high price doesn't appear to be justified by the package's core specifications, which include a relatively modest 1GB of web space and a 1GB monthly data transfer limit.

However, support and reliability may be very good.

Only 10 email accounts are allowed, although these can be accessed through both webmail and POP3 or IMAP clients. The Web Lite account does allow you to create multiple subdomains, though, which is useful if you want to host more than one site under your main domain name.

Uniquely this package uses neither Linux or Windows operating systems based, instead it uses the FreeBSD operating system.

Gradwell's well presented control panel provides access to account and billing information, domain and DNS management. Email settings and web-hosting services including MySQL database management, usage data and a web site creation wizard are also included within this panel.

There is no file manager and no support for Microsoft FrontPage, so you would use a third-party FTP application to upload your files. This is not a major problem as using a desktop FTP program generally gives the best control.

The Web Lite account comes with a single MySQL database. This is useful if you plan to keep data on or collect data from your website, but many other packages at this price offer multiple database.
